It can also be had with a 2.4 liter Theta II GDI engine, which powers the entry level model for the US market. All models are now available with a new six-speed automatic transmission.For extra rigidity and safety, most of body panels in the new car are made of steel. Also it has six airbags, Vehicle Dynamic Control including Hill-start Assist Control and Brake Assist System as standard.The price of new 2011 Hyundai Sonata when it goes on sale in US in January 2010 will be between US$17,600 to US$21,450, depending on options.
